1. History

• The Reproduction Support Centre at Bach Mai Hospital was established on the foundation of nearly 50 years of formation and development of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and over 13 years of the Reproduction Support Unit under Bach Mai Hospital. It gathers a team of leading experts in obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive support.
• The Centre does not only perform examinations, counseling, and treatment but also implements modern techniques, psychological monitoring, and comprehensive support for infertile couples. As a specialized unit within Bach Mai Hospital, the Centre is tasked with treating infertility pathologies and serves as a spearhead unit for fertility preservation and comprehensive healthcare for women of all ages.
• Being located within a national special-grade multi-field general hospital that receives and manages the most complex cases, the Centre benefits greatly from interdisciplinary coordination: from obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive support to endocrinology, clinical immunology and genetics, andrology, nephrology and urology, hematology, oncology, and psychiatry.
