Education & Work Experience

1992: Graduated as a Medical Doctor from Hanoi Medical University.

1996: Earned a Master’s degree in Internal Medicine from Hanoi Medical University.

2008: Earned a PhD from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.

1997 - 1998: Lecturer at the Department of Internal Medicine, Hanoi Medical University, and Physician at the Department of Gastroenterology, Bach Mai Hospital.

1998 - 2015: Lecturer at the Department of Internal Medicine, Hanoi Medical University, and Physician at the Department of Musculoskeletal Medicine, Bach Mai Hospital.

2015 - 2016: Senior Lecturer at Hanoi Medical University and Deputy Head of the Department of Musculoskeletal Medicine, Bach Mai Hospital.

2016 - Present: Director of the Center for Musculoskeletal Medicine, Bach Mai Hospital, and Senior Lecturer at Hanoi Medical University.

Strengths & Professional Experience

Deep expertise in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions: osteoarthritis, gout, autoimmune musculoskeletal diseases, etc.

Experienced in performing various interventional techniques: arthroscopy, Autologous Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injection.

Currently serves as the Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Rheumatology Association.

Supervisor for numerous PhD students, Master’s students, and Residency Physicians in Musculoskeletal Medicine.

Principal Investigator and Lead Author of various scientific works published in international and Vietnamese research journals.

Principal Investigator for multiple multi-center studies and clinical trials both internationally and in Vietnam.
