According to Mr. Ye Qing, the signing ceremony is the result of nearly two years of continuous exchange between the two sides to seek areas with cooperation potential. This is also the starting point to materialize the agreed orientations into practical cooperative programs.

Accordingly, three priorities were identified by the Hospital: developing human resources through training, expert exchange, joint consultations, and research; building a controlled medicinal herb value chain—from seed selection, cultivation areas, harvesting, processing, and testing to traceability; and ensuring that cooperative activities comply with the law, medical ethics, patient data protection, and place patients' interests at the center.
Five groups of cooperation contents
During the working session, representatives of the specialized units of Bach Mai Hospital discussed the demand for receiving experts, training specialized doctors in the direction of combining Eastern and Western medicine, researching appropriate treatment methods, standardizing medicinal herb sources, and developing quality-assured traditional medicine dosage forms.
Zhida Group shared its experience in building a medicinal herb traceability system, covering cultivation, harvesting, processing, transportation, and testing. The partner also proposed formulating an annual training plan to connect Bach Mai Hospital with hospitals, traditional medicine universities, and appropriate specialized institutions in China.
