Honoring High-Quality Scientific Works
Held over two days, March 26–27, the contest attracted hundreds of research projects and technical innovations from various departments across the hospital. The submissions were highly appreciated for their novelty, scientific value, and practical applicability in clinical practice, management, and training.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented a total of 114 official awards, including 17 First Prizes, 17 Second Prizes, 33 Third Prizes, and 47 Consolation Prizes.
In addition, two special “Bach Mai Star” awards were granted to the most outstanding projects of the contest, along with five supplementary awards recognizing creative ideas, high potential applications, impressive presentations, and outstanding young presenters.
Recognizing Contributions of the Youth Force
Beyond professional achievements, the ceremony also served as an occasion to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of collectives and individuals in youth union activities and movements.
Various commendations were awarded, including Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, commendations from the Director of Bach Mai Hospital, and certificates from the Kim Lien Ward Youth Union, honoring exemplary individuals and groups who have actively contributed to building a dynamic, creative, and responsible youth movement within the hospital.


Orienting the Promotion of Young Scientific Research
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Xuan Co, Director of Bach Mai Hospital and Head of the Organizing Committee, emphasized the pivotal role of scientific research in improving professional quality and affirming the hospital’s academic standing.
He acknowledged the proactiveness and creativity of the young staff and affirmed that the hospital will continue to refine mechanisms and create favorable conditions to further promote scientific research activities, especially among young professionals.
Also at the event, Dr. Nguyen Ngo Quang, Vice Chairman of the National Medical Council and Director General of the Department of Science, Technology and Training (Ministry of Health), highly appreciated the scale and significance of the contest, considering it a practical model for fostering scientific research in hospitals.
He stressed that promoting research activities among young professionals plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of the healthcare system and should be further expanded in the future.


Bach Mai Youth - A Pioneering Force
The success of the contest bears the strong imprint of the Bach Mai Hospital Youth Union, which played a key role in organizing, connecting, and spreading the spirit of scientific research throughout the institution.
More than just a professional event, the contest has contributed to laying the foundation for a young scientific research ecosystem at Bach Mai Hospital, aiming toward sustainable development in the future.
Although the ceremony has concluded, the scientific values and spirit of innovation it ignited will continue to spread, serving as a driving force for young professionals to keep learning, mastering science, and contributing to the advancement of Vietnamese medicine.
